Posture disorders in children

Violation of posture in children

Wrong, scoliotic posture in a child causes a lot of problems. And not only aesthetic nature. Multiple diseases of the spine - that's what happens from bad posture. It is necessary to take all measures to address the issue of "how to correct the bearing in the child?", Including preventive ones.

How is the formation of a correct child's posture going?

The newborn has a bend of the spine in the form of a convex back arc. By the first month of life, it forms in the neck, starting from 6 months - in the thoracic spine.

At the age of 10 months, the child usually begins to walk. At the same time, because of the weakness and severity of the abdominal muscles, a small bend forms in the lumbar spine, which continues to grow at preschool age. Completely their formation to 6 - 7 years. Bends are necessary to maintain balance and elasticity of the spine during movements.

In periods of rapid growth, 5 - 8 and 11 - 12 years, the spine does not have time to adapt to the increase in the length of muscles and bones, therefore, most of the children have a violation of posture. The reasons for the curvature of the posture in the child can also be covered in the wrong diet or the wrong posture in the "sitting" position. In this case, for a correct posture, you should choose a chair in which the feet will stand firmly on the floor, and the legs are bent at the knees at the optimal value of 45 °.

Recommended exercises for violations of posture in children

Physical exercises for correcting posture are recommended for children starting from 4 to 5 years.

Performed in the standing position:

  1. The hands are on the belt. On inhalation - to remove the scapula, dilating the elbows. On exhalation take the starting position.
  2. Hands touch the shoulders, legs to the sides. On exhalation bend forward, without bending the back. On inhalation - in the starting position.
  3. Hands with a gymnastic stick are lowered down. On exhalation, the stick is raised up and forward. On inhalation - in the starting position.
  4. Gymnastic stick in the lowered hands. Pulling your hands forward, sit with your back straight and take the starting position.
  5. The stick is on the shoulder blades. Pulling his hands with a stick up, lean forward. Then, straighten up and return the stick to the shoulder blades.

Exercises for posture for children, in the "lying on the back" position:

  1. Lying on an inclined plane on the back, head to the gymnastic wall. Hands hold on to the rail. Pull up on the exhalation the knees bent at the knees to the stomach. On the inspiration, straighten your legs.
  2. Hands stretched along the body. Legs perform bicycle traffic.
  3. Hands spread apart. Pull forward your arms while lifting your left leg. Touch with the right hand foot. Take the starting position, and, then, repeat the exercise with the right foot, touching the left hand.

"lying on the stomach" position:

  1. Hands are apart. Raise the body to the ceiling, bending back the thoracic spine. Then, take the How to fix a child home position.
  2. Hands should be on your belt. Raise the body upwards while lifting the right leg on the inspiration. On exhalation take the starting position. Repeat with the left foot.
  3. The arms bent in elbows hold a gymnastic stick on the shoulder blades. Raise the body by bending the body through the stick. Again, take the original position.

Physical exercises aimed at developing correct posture in children should be performed daily, one hour after eating or one hour before. The duration of the lessons is a leisurely pace of 30 to 40 minutes. Each exercise is carried out 5 times, gradually increasing the number of approaches to 10.

exercises for children( video)

Exercises for the posture for children should be carried out by all children - and healthy, and with an existing violation of posture. Such exercises should be included in exercises on morning exercises and in outdoor games. After all, the posture reflects the child's physical and mental health, his character and mood.

To maintain the health of the baby, it is necessary to support and strengthen it in every possible way. The same applies to posture. The first problems with posture begin in adolescents. The curriculum is now such that the child sits a lot - at school, 6-8 lessons in the senior classes, at the tutor and again at home, preparing homework. If you have since your childhood accustom your child every day to pay attention to simple exercises, then avoid many troubles.

Correct posture affects even the speed of metabolism, the supply of oxygen to the brain( this applies to people whose habits of writing and reading are slightly tilted head sideways). The most important thing is that the exercises should be done regularly, regardless of whether your child has problems with posture or not. The exception is children who regularly engage in any kind of sport - running, swimming, dancing, gymnastics. But if your child does not exercise, then insist on home exercises for posture! And even better - do everything together, especially if the child is a preschooler and a junior school-age. You will not notice how to get involved and stop complaining about neck pain and backache. Exercises that will be described below are funny, funny and not at all complicated. You can do a couple of exercises, try everything and then repeat the most loved ones. And you can fix certain exercises for each day of the week - as you like.

Remember that the baby's body develops very quickly, there is also the factor of unexpected "growth spikes", when for a month the child shyly asks for new pants, because the old ones suddenly became short.

Explain to the child what posture is. This is the vertical position of the human body, which is familiar to him. When they say "proud posture" or "dancing posture" - this means that a person is used to walking with a straight back, keeping his head steady. But when they say "wrong posture" - it means that a person is used to walking with a round back, slightly hunched, keeping his head down. Posture - this is one of the indicators on which to judge health. The ideal posture from a medical point of view is when the back is straight, stretched up and there are no bends. If they talk about problems with posture and back, then most often there is a so-called scoliosis - when the spine is curved to the right or to the left. Prior to scoliosis, most often injuries, rickets, weak muscle tissue of the back, but there may be congenital disorders of posture.

Children with impaired posture are often characterized by shyness, passivity and shyness.

Straight and beautiful posture is a straightened back, a raised head, the position of the shoulders on one level and easy retraction, symmetrical finding of the shoulder blades and their tight fit to the chest, the stomach is slightly selected, the chest slightly protrudes, the lower limbs are straight, and notare half-bent.

Correct posture is important not only from the aesthetic side. Her pathology changes the location of internal organs, which leads to disruption of the functioning of the cardiovascular system and makes breathing difficult. The result is a fast fatigue of the child and his poor health.

Therefore, timely prevention of the violation of posture in children is very important, and it should begin at an early age. Moving outdoor games that help develop dexterity, courage, initiative and strengthen the muscles of the whole body, as well as improve the activity of the heart, respiratory system and metabolism are very useful for children's posture.

Let's consider what exercises and in what cases will help you and your child avoid problems with posture.

Exercises for violations of posture in children

If the posture is already broken and the doctor has told you about it, we recommend that you pay attention to the following exercises. You will need a mirror.

Exercise 1

We stand near the wall, touching it with shoulder blades, heels, buttocks and the back of the head. We raise hands to the level of the shoulders with the palms of the wall. Slowly we slide along the wall with our hands, without changing the position of the back - as before everything that touched the walls and should touch it, down and up. During exercise, the muscles of the back and hands should be strained. The chin is forward, the stomach is retracted. They did 10 repetitions - and relaxed. You can do three approaches three times.

Exercise 2

In this exercise, a big role is played by the mirror. Stand in front of him and press against the wall as described in the previous exercise. Now your task is to move away from the hay so that the back remains in the same position as if you are continuing to lean against the wall. Slowly we move away from the wall, checking our posture in the mirror. So three or four times.

Exercise 3

The starting position is the same as in the previous two exercises - near the wall. Put your hands on your belt. Elbows should touch the wall. We slid along the back with buttocks, hands, shoulder blades and the back of the head and slowly sit down, and then just as slowly get up. Please watch yourself in the mirror. And your two children will be a "mirror".Five such slow sit-ups and you can take a break. When you get used to doing this exercise, you can add a number of sit-ups.

Exercises for correct posture

The task of this section is to show that the correct posture should be maintained, as the child grows, form it in the right direction. We offer the following simple and effective exercises for this:

Exercise 1

The starting position is lying on your stomach, your arms are stretched out in front of you. Let your child simultaneously slowly raise his arms and legs, slightly bent in the lower back. At the upper point, you have to stay for a couple of seconds and slowly return to the starting position. Five repetitions.

Exercise 2

The starting position is the same, but the baby's hands must rest against the floor. Without lifting your hands from the floor and leaning on them, you need to stretch your head up to rise as high as possible and to bend back. Then slowly return to the starting position.

Exercise 3

The starting position is standing. The child should bend his hands in the elbows, then press the hands as much as possible to the shoulders, the thumb always touches the shoulder. After that, in a stressed state, spread your fingers to the sides. Elbows are pressed to the trunk - do everything one by one, so it will be easier for you to understand what to do. So, the child with his fingers spread out and his elbows pressed stands, stretching into a string and slightly bending his head back. Now the path slowly leads the elbows forward until they come in contact, while the head simultaneously rest on the elbows. Then relax and count to five. Slowly take your elbows and head back. At the same time, the tension in the muscles of the cervical region and the pressure of the chin are acutely felt. Exercise repeat five times.

Exercise 4

The starting position is lying on the floor with the abdomen down. Folded palms of the chin then you need to make such a movement, as if you are in the water and you dilute the water with your hands to the side. Palms the child spreads from himself, then bends his hands in the elbows in front of him, puts his head on the handles and rest a little. The muscles of the cervical region, shoulders, back and arms work. Five repetitions.

Exercise 5

The starting position - lying on the back, the child has to raise two legs by forty-five degrees and "twist the bike" in the air. Ten turns forward, then you can lower the legs and give the child a break, then ten spinning back. And so three approaches. The loin of the child should be pressed to the floor, the child's hands can rest on the floor behind.

Exercise 6

The child in the starting position on the back, stretched out evenly, arms along the body. Legs should be kept together and slowly raised slightly above the floor( but beginners may slightly higher - the exercise is quite complex), then let them divide widely the legs will count "once, two, three" will bring back together and lower it to the floor. Ten repetitions. Watch the breath of the child - it should be smooth, calm.

To maintain proper posture, you need to do 15 minute breaks while doing homework. One break per hour. In doing so, the child must stand up, walk around, or do a couple of exercises. You can do it like that - get your knees on the chair, put your head on the table on the folded hands, while straining your back and bending it with a bridge. Then relax your back muscles and relax for a while.

Exercises to correct posture in children

Correct posture - this is the correct blood supply to the organs, excellent lung function, good emotional state. Stooping people often feel depressed, this has already been proved by scientists. Explain this to your child and he will understand you.

The easiest exercise for correcting posture is walking on toe-toes with a book on your head. You can also put a book on your head and walk with the child. Arrange competitions - from whom the first book will fall, he lost.

There is a good exercise for children, called "cat".The child is on his knees, leaning his hands on the floor, his head is lowered. You say: "A cat sees a mouse! And the child arches his back with a bridge. You say: "The cat is looking at my mother! And the child bends the back, raising his head high, arching in the opposite direction.

Good exercises for the back - pose Planks and push-ups from the floor. Children hard to wring out. Therefore, you can start training them to squeeze from their knees. The emphasis is on the hands and bent knees. The arms are wide and symmetrical with respect to the head. The back is straight. The head is not lowered - look forward. Enough pairs of push-ups for the three approaches. Gradually increase the number of push-ups, and then let the child push up, resting on the socks. Mums and dads are also not harmful to join the child. Here, too, competitions are possible - who will get better, who will do more push-ups.

Pose of the bar. You can rest on your elbows and socks. The body is stretched into a string, the back is straight, the eyes are looking forward, not down. The abdomen is tense. Count to 30 - this at first for the child is enough. Let the child try to do the same Planki position, leaning on the outstretched arms.

Another good exercise - let the child sit in Turkish on the floor, the back holds exactly, and hands stretch over your head and stretch your arms as high as possible. Make several times - so much that he was comfortable.

Complex of exercises for the posture for children

The complex of exercises for the posture for children includes exercises that strengthen the muscular corset and contribute to the formation of a correct posture.

To prevent the occurrence of a pathology of posture in very young children( up to 4 years old), it is recommended that during the day several specific exercises be performed in the form of a game:

  • Go up under a chair or under a tight rope.
  • Put the rope on the floor and walk along it as a tightrope walker.
  • Crawl on all fours and still keep your head down.
  • Execute the exercise - a woodcutter, when the child seems to "chop wood" while performing slopes.

For older children of preschool age( from 4 years) and children of school age, the following complex of exercises for beautiful posture is recommended:

  • Exercise is a wave. The child should be located on the stomach, on the floor with arms outstretched forward. Then it is necessary to raise both arms and legs simultaneously, to stop in such position for a few seconds and return and the initial position. The number of repetitions is at least five.
  • Exercise is a crocodile. To perform this exercise, the child lays down on the stomach, on the floor, hands at the same time extended forward and rest against the floor. Then you need to slowly raise your head, caving in the waist and not taking your hands off the floor. Then return to the original position and relax the body. The number of repetitions is at least five.
  • It is necessary to lie on the stomach, and the upper limbs are positioned perpendicular to the body, i.e.in the sides. From this position, you need to lift the body, bending in the thoracic region of the spine and extending up, then return to its original position. Repeats should be five.
  • In the prone position on the abdomen, you need to bend your arms in the elbow joints, and on the shoulder blades you need to hold the gymnastic stick. Next, you need to lift the body so that it bends through the gymnastic stick, then return to its original position. The number of repetitions is five.
  • Lying on the belly, place your hands in the belt area. It is necessary to lift the body upward and left foot on inhalation, after - to return to the original position on exhalation. Then the exercise should be done with the right leg raised.
  • You need to lie on your back and put your hands perpendicular to your body. After, lift the upper limbs up and forward with the simultaneous raising of the left leg, so as to touch the hand, then do the exercise with the right foot.
  • Exercise is a bicycle. To perform it, you need to lie on your back and make movements similar to biking from five to ten rotations. Next, lower the lower limbs for rest for a few seconds and continue the exercise as many times.
  • It is necessary to lie on your back on a plane with a slope, while grasping its side surface. Then bend the lower limbs in the knee joints, pull to the stomach and exhale. Then straighten the lower extremities and inhale.
  • In standing position, it is necessary to hold the gymnastic stick with your hands in the area of the shoulder blades. Next, you need to tilt the body forward, raise the upper limbs upward with the deduction of the stick. After - return to the original position.
  • In standing position with a lowered gymnastic stick in his hands, it is necessary to lift the stick forward and upwards on exhalation, after - to return to the initial position on inhalation.
  • In standing position with the gymnastic stick lowered in your hands, you need to sit down and raise your hands with a stick forward, then return to the original position. The back should remain straightened.
  • The initial position - standing with the legs spread on the width of the shoulders, the arms bent at the elbow joints, while they are on the shoulders. Next, you need to tilt the body forward in exhalation and return to its original position on inspiration. The back should be straight.
  • In standing position, place your hands on your belt. After that, the arms bent at the elbow joints turn forward on inhalation and return to the original position on exhalation.

These exercises are recommended for daily studies in the morning or evening, which depends on the activity of the child. The number of repetitions of exercises should be from five to ten, you need to start small - with five repetitions, with a gradual increase. Classes should start one hour after eating or before eating.

The presented complex of exercises is applied more with the preventive purpose, after all it is better to warn a disease, than it to treat. Also, with the same purpose, it is recommended to visit the pediatric orthopedist every year. For correct formation of posture, it is also useful:

  • swimming,
  • volleyball,
  • basketball,
  • skiing,
  • small physical exercises for ten to fifteen minutes, every hour - one and a half.

Ideally, not only parents, but also kindergarten teachers, and school teachers should observe the formation of a correct posture.

Postural Exercises( Scoliosis) for Children

Let's see what is a scoliotic posture and how does it differ from scoliosis? The medical definition of scoliotic posture is the displacement of the spinal column sideways( frontal plane). This pathology can be easily seen. But the difference from scoliosis is that the asymmetry, unevenness and curvature of the vertebra disappear if the person leans forward or lies down. The child will need to make a lateral roentgenogram of the spine for an accurate diagnosis. Then - after getting the diagnosis - taking into account the advice of the doctor, you need to treat the child using an integrated approach. And exercises for scoliotic posture for children will be very useful to you. You can connect to the exercises and orthopedic corset( according to the doctor), monitor how your child is sitting and standing and work with him to eliminate bad habits. Perhaps you will be recommended to practice in special centers with professional instructors.

Scoliotic posture of the forerunner of scoliosis. These two pathologies are similar - and with scoliotic posture and scoliosis there is a bend of the spine, shoulder blades and shoulders are not symmetrical, asymmetry is also observed in the waist region. The position of the pelvis, as a rule, can be even.

Exercises for scoliotic posture in children can stop the deformation of the spine and make the posture more correct, while the muscles of the trunk are strengthened there is no muscle imbalance.

Posture exercises( scoliosis) for children should be performed daily, with a gradual increase in load and include the following complex:

  • In the standing position - the lower limbs are located on the width of the shoulders, and the arms on the waist. At the expense of one or two it is necessary to make a slope of the body forward, down and touch your fingers to the floor on exhalation, after which, on account of three or four, return to the original position and inhale. The number of repetitions is not less than seven.
  • In the standing position, hands behind the head, the back should be straight, carry out circular movements of the body. In the position of the trunk from behind we take a breath, in front - exhale. Repetition should be at least seven.
  • In a standing position, place your hands perpendicular to the body and make a torso turn to the right, return to the original position, and then make a left turn. Repeat the exercise should be from six to ten times.
  • In the standing position with the hands located on the sides, perform head turns to the right and to the left. The number of repetitions of the exercise is not less than six.
  • From the standing position, with the hands located on each side, to make the body turns as deep as possible - to the right on the inspiration - the initial position - to the left when exhaling. The exercise is repeated six to ten times.
  • Standing with your legs shoulder-width apart, you should hold the gymnastic stick behind the back at the level of the shoulder blades and make the torso bend forward, return to the original position on the inspiration and make a slight slope of the body back on exhalation. Repeat the exercise should be at least six times.
  • In the position on the knees, the hands rest against the floor with the palms of the hands, the head must be raised and inhaled, and then the head should be lowered and the back protruded on the exhalation. The number of repetitions is six to ten times.
  • In the position lying on the abdomen, the feet should be fixed, and in hands it is necessary to hold a weight of approximately two to two and a half kilograms( for example, a bag of sand, dumbbells). On inhalation, it is necessary to bend and raise arms with a load, then exhale and return to the starting position. Exercise is done at least six times.
  • It is necessary to sit on the floor and lean against the back of the palm on the floor, then inhale at the same time raise the lower and upper limbs by forty-five degrees, then exhale back to its original position. The number of repetitions is six to ten times.
  • Standing with the legs spread on the width of the shoulders, it is necessary to hold the expander in the hands behind the back of the head, then at the expense of one or two spread hands to the sides and bend in the chest with a breath. Then at the expense of three or four return to its original position and exhale. Exercise should be repeated six to ten times.
  • Having placed the palms of the hands on the forehead's surface, it is necessary to tilt the head forward with overcoming resistance from hands and holding your breath. Then return to the original position, take a breath and exhale. The exercise is repeated four times, with a break of no more than ten seconds, muscle tension during the exercise should be four seconds.
  • Standing with the hands on the back of the head, it is necessary to move the head back, thus overcoming the resistance of the hands. Then you need to gently lower your hands and breathe in and out. This exercise is also performed four times, with a break of ten seconds, with muscle tension for four seconds.
  • Standing with the lower limbs on the width of the shoulders, it is necessary to tilt the body forward and shake with relaxed hands, then return to the original position. The number of repetitions is not less than seven.
  • It is necessary to lie on your back in the form of a star, i.e.set aside the upper and lower limbs, relax all muscles for fifteen seconds.
  • Exercise, which requires walking with periodic walking on the toes. It can be supplemented by a simultaneous raising of hands. Repeat no less than four to five times.

The above complex is recommended to be performed one hour after or before meals, in the morning or in the evening. This set of exercises is an auxiliary component of the complex treatment of vertebral column( scoliosis) curvature, which is assigned, monitored and corrected by the pediatric orthopedist during the entire treatment process.

We hope that the article is useful to you and you will help to correct your child's posture. The main thing is to prevent a permanent deterioration of the situation. All in your hands. And you must not omit them.

Disorder of posture in children, scoliosis, causes, exercise technique

  • 17 week of pregnancy

The violation of posture in children is not only a physical problem, but also an aesthetic problem.

Curvature entails diseases of the spine and pathology of other organs, if timely do not contact a specialist and do not treat the problem.

If you pay attention to the problem in time, in most cases the posture curvature in children is treated.

The main thing is to correctly determine the cause, which led to violation of posture in children.

There is such a problem in the asymmetry of the spine and stoop.

Causes of curvature of the spine in children

The resulting defects in posture have two characteristics - congenital and acquired.

  • The first type is associated with a violation of the formation of posture in the womb( the formation of additional vertebrae, wedge-shaped deformation of the vertebra), myotonic syndrome or connective tissue dysplasia.
  • The second type acquired, according to statistics, occurs in 85-95% of children, often having asthenic physique.
  • There is a similar vertebrae defect due to low physical activity, constant wearing of the portfolio in one hand, with poor lighting of the workplace, not matching the growth of the child and the table, chair.

The position of the body that is familiar to a person while walking, standing or sitting is called a posture.

During the period of intensive growth and active physical development of the child, the formation of skills for maintaining a correct posture is taking place.

Posture is called correct if the head is positioned correctly and exactly with respect to the shoulder blades and shoulders that are on the same level( horizontal line), the bends in the spine are evenly and fairly expressed.

Degrees of scoliosis in children

Posture disorders in children occur in the frontal or sagittal plane.

The disorders that have arisen in the sagittal plane are characterized by changes in the physiological curves of the spine. That is, it can be a stoop( called kyphosis), a concavity of the lumbar region( lordosis) or a flat back, that is, all the curves are smoothed.

There are 4 degrees of curvature of the spine, depending on which the appropriate therapy is assigned:

  • I degree - changes in posture are minor and they can be changed;Visually, the defect is not visible and the angle is no more than 5 degrees. Similar symptoms are observed in more than 50% of school-age children in Russia and CIS.
  • II degree - the changes are already becoming more noticeable, they can be corrected, but it is necessary to do regular special physical exercises prescribed by the doctor. In addition to exercises, you must constantly monitor the correct position of the body while walking and sitting for lessons. Much attention should be devoted to the right sitting in the school. A child with a broken posture should sit in the center rows in the classroom.
  • III degree - to eliminate such violations with the help of only unloading the spine is impossible. The index of the 3rd degree, varies from 20 to 30 degrees of bending.
  • External symptoms of a child's posture disorder may manifest in the round back, stoop, hollow thorax, "pterygoid" scapula, and also in changing the bending of the legs in the knees.

If the child has a flexure of the spine in the right or left side, the shoulders or scapulas or nipples are located at different levels - this indicates a symmetry violation.

Curved posture can trigger abnormalities in the operation of many internal organs.

So, for example, stoop and sagging breasts can lead to malfunction of the respiratory system.

Negative effects can also come on the lungs, heart and digestive organs.

Complete correction of this degree is almost impossible through deformation of the chest.

But it is necessary to take measures to stop the process of curvature. The fact is that, in most cases, when untimely taken measures, it goes to the 4th degree.

Below we will describe what can be done, modern medicine is not able to correct the defect, even by surgical intervention. Now with the right approach and intensive training, good results are given by manual therapy, based on some specific exercises.

  • IV degree - index of curvature of the spine above 30 degrees.

Diagnosis of posture disorder in a child

If any changes in the child's posture are found, it is necessary to consult a highly qualified specialist - vertebrologist or traumatologist, and also to use the manual therapy method, which we will discuss in more detail.

Instrumental and visual diagnostic methods are used, in some cases, MRT or X-rays are prescribed.

Exercises for violations of posture

Gymnastics for the treatment of scoliosis in children consists of three stages: warm-up, the main part and the final part.

Before starting a warm-up, the child should try and fix a smooth and regular posture at the door or wall.

For this, the toddler should stand with his back to the wall or door so that he can touch her buttocks, tibic muscles and heels. Then take two steps forward, while maintaining the correctness of the posture. It is important to breathe evenly and do not hold your breath.

After this, you can proceed to warm-up: legs should be placed on the width of the shoulders, raise your hands upwards, inhale, stretch up and exhale to lower your hands down, while the posture should remain in the correct position.

Then in the workout are added exercises - movements around the shoulders, bending the legs in the knee, while pressing them to the stomach.

If the child is diagnosed with a curvature of the spine, treatment with physical education should be determined by a doctor, because it is necessary to take into account the individual characteristics of each person's development.

The main part of physical culture can include such exercises:

  • The child takes a lying position on the stomach on the bed, bench or sofa. Hands should be behind the head, and the legs should be fixed. The edge of the surface should be in the abdomen of the child.
  • While performing the exercise, the child should bend 90% down, then straighten up as much as possible, with the face looking forward.

    This exercise will help strengthen the paravertebral muscles of the back;

  • The crossbar is an excellent assistant - pulling up on it helps to strengthen the widest muscles of the back.
  • If a child can not catch up at least once, then it is necessary to help him. Gradually, the number of pull-ups should increase to 10 times.

  • A set of exercises completes the final exercises - walking on heels / socks, as well as walking with a hip lift or sweeping of the shin.

Technique for correcting the spine( scoliosis) with the help of manual therapy

This technique was developed by the doctor Bobyr. To date, there is a clinic, and private doctors working on this method.

Treatment of scoliosis with manual therapy is not quackery or folk healing. It consists in visiting the doctor once every 3 months and a set of special everyday exercises.

The method is 99% safe, it involves stretching the spine and repositioning the displaced cartilage with a roller. But the doctor will do only 30% of the work, everything else depends on you and the special exercises.

In a home environment, you will need to load a little developed muscle, while the muscle on the other side of the spine completely relaxes.

Over time, the weak muscle on one side will begin to increase and pull the backbone behind, thereby leveling it. A doctor is needed, only to adjust the vertebra and exercises.

For a day, it is necessary to allocate no more than 30 minutes.

We will not now show exactly what exercises are being done, since everything is padded individually for each patient. But if necessary, you can turn to the feedback form for any questions in particular exercises.

If you find a violation of the child's posture, do not panic, it is important to seek advice and help from a specialist who, after carrying out the diagnosis, will prescribe the correct treatment and set of exercises.

Posture disorder in children - prevention, exercise, treatment

The position of the body, familiar to a person during walking, standing or sitting, is called a posture. The child's skills of maintaining a correct posture are formed as he grows up, during physical development and intensive growth. Posture is considered correct when the bends of the spine are expressed evenly, the shoulders and shoulder blades are on the same level.

The violation of posture in children is not only an aesthetic problem. With a stooped back and a sunken chest, the child often has malfunctions in the circulatory system, breathing, digestion. As a result of the emerging hypoxia, the body's resistance to adverse environmental influences decreases.

Causes of impaired posture in children

In most cases( except congenital scoliosis), the child appears with a straight spine. As the baby grows, bends form, which act as shock absorbers. They quench the vibrations that occur when moving. The very first appears cervical lordosis( bending forward), then thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis. This process ends about 6-7 years of age.

Usually, the violation of posture in children occurs during periods of active growth, especially at 11-13 years. At this time, muscles and bones quickly lengthen, and the body does not have time to adapt to the changed body size. Specialists identify violations of posture of two types: in the sagittal and frontal planes.

With an incorrect ratio of the bends of the spine, there are signs of postural defect in the sagittal plane, including:

  • Smoothed vertebral bends or flat back;
  • Round back;
  • Round-concave back;
  • Hemp.

Posture disorders in children in the frontal plane are characterized by an asymmetric arrangement of one half of the trunk relative to the other. At the first degree, almost imperceptible defects of posture are noted, from which the child himself can be eliminated with the help of purposeful control over the position of the body. More pronounced deformations are observed at grade II, they can also be adjusted with simple exercises. In violation of posture III degree deformity of the spine in the child can not be eliminated only one gymnastics.

Causes of abnormal posture in children:

  • Malnutrition and illness;
