Hardening is simply necessary for the child's organism, it allows to increase its resistance to diseases. The hardening process must be carried out from early childhood and with a strictly defined sequence.

With regard to tempering using air baths, in this case the newborns should be allowed to ventilate for a few minutes while changing the diaper. Babies older can be charged in a well-ventilated room. In general, this procedure for children from one to three years takes 20-40 minutes.
The main point of hardening is walking in the air. It is carried out, despite the temperature and weather, only the time range changes. For babies up to a year in the summer is 30-45 minutes, and older children are not limited in time. In winter, the duration of the walk depends on the air temperature, on average from 30 minutes.up to 2 hours. As for wiping, it should be done with a towel( sponge), which is moistened with warm water, up to three minutes, starting with the legs and handles.
